The plan for today (Sunday) was to have a quiet morning in, go for a gentle bike ride with Kris, maybe take a picnic, and enjoy the sunshine as he's got the weekend off.
Instead. I went to my Aunt-in-laws (without Kris), where my sister-in-law was house sitting.
A beautiful garden and a hot tub is exactly what the sun brought out for us today.
A few of our friends from Folkestone came up to join us which made for a lovely afternoon in the sun.
Perfect way to spend my afternoon!
I came home, with the intention to carry out the original plan of "bike ride".
I got home, and we decided instead... To garden.
We'd been given some plants yesterday by Anita, so we figured we'd plant them in some pots and give the garden a good seeing to.
I made sure to take some photos before the bigger jobs were done, to see the improvement. I definitely didn't need photo evidence. The improvement was pretty obvious.
